If you are reading this, you likely heard Episode #2 of my podcast. If not, check it out on iTunes “ImpactBank: The Kickass Koach” or find it on my website at www.impactbank.ca
I would love to hear from you. What resonated for you?
I asked myself many questions as I tried to make sense of my new reality. What did I want? What was I willing to do to create the life I wanted?
Try being curious; it is one of the best ways to overcome the fear related to “not knowing”. I grew my circle of support and reached out beyond my comfort zone. In doing that, I discovered the world of professional coaching and six months after my stroke I attended my first ICF (International Coaching Federation) conference, enrolling in a coaching program three months later.
If you know a change will benefit you, start examining your options. Being curious is always a great place to start. Asking yourself what you want sounds easy but really figuring it out is hard work. It may be the BEST thing you can do for yourself.
You have something to say and do. IT MATTERS.

A piece of the story I didn’t share on the podcast.
The day I was released from hospital I contracted a Medical Intuitive—one who happens to also be a physician and scientist (PH.D in Behavioural Neuroscience). She helped me dig into WHY I had a stroke. She is part of the reason I was able to find the courage to let go of the past and embrace a new future.
She told me quite clearly that I was GREAT with money (and I am) but that I had a lack of balance with money. I didn’t understand it then but she inspired me to examine it—GREAT ADVICE. Letting go of the need to ‘keep score’ and “earn” my self-worth has been one of the greatest gifts from this experience so far.
I remain open to the many insights and lessons that will reveal themselves throughout the journey.
